Company Information

J&A Welding and Maintenance LLC is a licensed North Carolina Limited Liability Company (SOSID: 3246201) providing welding, fabrication, and commercial maintenance services.

Services

J&A Welding and Maintenance LLC offers the following services to commercial and hospitality clients:

• MIG and TIG welding
• Stainless steel fabrication, repair, and polishing
• Mobile welding (on-site)
• Preventive maintenance for commercial equipment
• HVAC and A/C maintenance and repair
• Light fixture installation and repair
• Lock and door hardware service
• General commercial maintenance

We reserve the right to decline any job that falls outside our licensed scope of work or that presents safety risks beyond our capabilities.

Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if:

• The scope of work changes after the initial assessment
• Additional materials or labor are required once work begins
• Site conditions differ materially from what was initially described

We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with additional work. Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless a written agreement specifies otherwise. We accept cash, check, and electronic payment methods. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

For larger projects exceeding $5,000, we may require a deposit of up to 50% before work begins.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Repeated cancellations without notice may require a deposit for future bookings.

We operate Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm. Emergency or after-hours service may be available at an additional charge.

Limitation of Liability

J&A Welding and Maintenance LLC carries general liability insurance for the services we provide. Our liability is limited to the value of the services rendered. We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage or conditions not caused by our work
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Delays caused by circumstances outside our control (weather, supply chain, etc.)

We do not perform structural welding. Any work requiring structural engineering certification must be referred to a licensed structural engineer.

Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our work. J&A Welding and Maintenance LLC provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on labor for completed jobs. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party modifications
• Normal wear and tear
• Pre-existing equipment issues unrelated to our work

Manufacturer warranties on parts and materials are subject to each manufacturer's terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Union County or Mecklenburg County, NC.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
